Een man uit het Belgische Deurne heeft mogelijk meer dan tien kinderen verkracht.
De kinderen waren toevertrouwd aan de zorgen van zijn vrouw, die oppasmoeder was.
Justitie in Antwerpen verdenkt de man van seksueel misbruik van zijn twee dochters van acht en
van de verkrachting of aanranding van tien andere kinderen in de leeftijd van enkele maanden tot drie jaar.
Het onderzoek naar de man ging in januari 2006 van start.
Het seksueel misbruik van de oppaskinderen was waarschijnlijk al sinds 2000 aan de gang.
De vrouw wordt ook vervolgd door justitie. Zij zou op de hoogte geweest zijn van de feiten,
maar ondernam niets om haar echtgenoot tegen te houden.

Wat verschrikkelijk als je als ouder erachter komt dat de man van je oppas zulke dingen heeft gedaan,
je verwacht tocht dat je kinderen veilig zijn bij de oppas.
